This free class is offered by Bill Moseley, Professor of Computer Science at Bakersfield College.
In it, you will learn everything you need to know in order to make your own web site, or to improve one that you already own. This class is useful for anyone who wants to make a web site for business or pleasure...
And everyone is invited to participate!
The class starts on January 20, and ends on May 9th. Each week, you will log in to this web site, and access that week's work.
There will be videos, reading, other resources to help you understand each concept, and places for you to ask questions and interact with your classmates.
Once you have gone over the instructional resources, there will be a project for you to work on that will help cement your understanding.
All along the way, you will have access to lots of real people, who are all learning the same thing that you are.
Taking a class online isn't a new thing, but there are still a large number of people who haven't tried it out. This class is a great chance to try out an online class that is identical to a college-level class without any cost, or any risk at all.
And what better class to try out "online" than a class about doing online work?
Don't worry - If you've come this far, we know that your computer is up to the task, and you already have much of the basic computer knowledge that you will need to succeed in the class. This is an intro-level class, so we promise to help you get started.
